Mid-Week Mini Post: Tangy Peach Mustard
Time for another Mid-Week Mini Post! This mustard is the perfect blend of sweet but TART! I use it a lot for pork and chicken recipes, just as a little bit of something extra to dip in. I prefer to use fresh, ripe peaches when I have them, but store bought will suffice in a pinch. If you like mustard, this is definitely a unique spin on your traditional Dijon.
15 oz can of sliced peaches, drained OR 1 3/4 cups sliced fresh, ripe peaches, skin removed
1/2 cup dijon mustard (can use less to taste)
5 tbsps honey
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
- Combine all ingredients in food processor and blend until smooth.
- Store in closed container in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
